What is Scriptmade?

Scriptmade is an AI teleprompter app that also edits your video. Claude writes a script for speaking, you read it right under your camera, and Scriptmade cuts the pauses, adds word-by-word captions, stock B-roll, AI images, transitions, sound effects and music, then hands you an MP4 ready to post.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Scriptmade is a web app. Open it in Chrome or Safari and use your laptop camera, any webcam, or your phone. The teleprompter sits right under the camera so your eyes stay on the lens.

Can I record on my phone?

Yes. Switch the studio to Phone and scan the code. Your phone becomes a teleprompter with the same script at the top of the screen, right under the front camera. When you tap stop, the video appears in the studio on your computer and goes through the same editing.

Will I look like I am reading?

The teleprompter sits right under the camera, so your eyes stay within a few degrees of the lens. It shows two lines at a time, follows your pace and waits on every pause, which keeps your delivery natural.

How does editing work without a timeline?

You edit the script. Type a slash on any line to add a split screen, full-screen stock footage, an AI image, a transition, a zoom, a sound effect or a caption move. Delete a line to cut it from the video. Scriptmade lines each direction up with the words you actually said.

Does it add captions automatically?

Yes. Every word is transcribed and timed, in 64 languages including Hindi, Arabic, Japanese and Spanish. Pick a caption style or set your own font, size, colors and background box.

How is it different from Descript, Captions or BIGVU?

Descript is an editor: you record somewhere else, then cut and caption by hand. Captions and BIGVU live on your phone. Scriptmade covers the whole job in your browser, from writing what to say to a finished, captioned and edited video, with no timeline to learn.

Which platforms can I post to?

Exports are H.264 MP4s in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9, so they work on X, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Threads. One click copies the video, and you paste it straight into the X composer.

Do my recordings get uploaded anywhere?

Only to finish your video. If you record on your phone, the take passes through our storage once to reach your studio and is deleted the moment it arrives. Only your script prompt and the audio needed for captions are sent to the AI models.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Scripts are written with Claude through Anthropic’s API, which does not train on your prompts or scripts.

Can I record without a script?

Yes. Start a freestyle take and just talk. Pauses are still cut and captions are still timed to every word.
